Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some of the most commonly asked questions. If you have any additional questions send an email to us at info@barstoolcentral.com and one of our associates will respond as soon as possible.

Order Confirmation – Once you place an order through our site, you will receive a receipt of what you have ordered. After confirming your selections are correct, you will send confirmation to us to proceed with the order at info@barstoolcentral.com. If changes are needed at this time, email these to us directly.

Once you approve your order acknowledgement we will send your order to the manufacturer.

Once the manufacturer receives the order we will send you an estimated shipping date. Orders generally take about 10-14 weeks. Please keep in mind these are rough estimates and shipping times can and do vary at times.

Order has shipped – Once your order has left the manufacturer. We will send you an email with tracking information. It usually takes about 1 week to arrive depending on your location.

Most orders will ship via UPS or FedEx.

Memory Return Swivel – allows you to rotate 90 degrees in either direction and returns the stools back to the center position after someone gets up from the seat.

360 Degree Swivel – allows you to rotate all the way around the stool and remains in the position you leave it when someone gets up from the stool.

All of our stools come with plastic glides that are attached to the bottom of the feet. These glides are typically sufficient for tile or vinyl floors as well as carpet. Wood floors require stick-on felt pads on the bottom of the plastic glides. This can be purchased at any local hardware store.

Please Note: Due to the vast types of flooring today, we suggest calling your flooring company to see what they recommend.

Yes, many of our stools are available in 34” height. You will see this displayed under ‘Seat Height’ when customizing you stool.
This is not available at this time with our current online offering.

We are located in Brookfield, Wisconsin which is a suburb of Milwaukee.
We have been fortunate enough to be “slanging stools” since 2001. We are a second generation owner operated business.
Yes, shipping is free anywhere in the continental U.S. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to ship to Alaska and Hawaii or outside of the U.S.
Currently orders are taking anywhere from 8-12 weeks on average to ship. From the time that the order is shipped, it can take an additional 5-7 business days until your order is delivered. Please note these times are estimates and can vary. We will do our best to notify you of any delays with your order.
Since these are specially ordered to your request, we do not accept partial payment. All orders must be paid in full in order for the manufacturer to start production.

Not at this time, all the stools available on our website are for indoor use only. We do offer some outdoor options available in our showroom in Brookfield, WI.
The dimensions can be found when clicking the “Build Your Stool Here” button when viewing stool details. This will take you to the manufactures website.

All metal furniture is powder coated, which provides a durable and environmental friendly finish for indoor use.

Semi-Transparent finish 51 Harley
The Harley finish is unique in that no two pieces will ever be identical since through this finish you are able to see details such as welding lines, sanding and other techniques bearing the touch of the manufacturer’s many skilled metal craftsmen. A certain amount of discoloration of the steel in various spots is a natural occurrence in this process and should not be considered a defect.

All stools require some assembly, still less than most imported products. Assembly instructions are included in each box. For quick references, you can search “Amisco Stool Assembly” online for some great tutorial videos if needed.
